Explore Antibes

Just a few minutes' walk from Maison Magie, along a flower-lined path, you will find all the stores you need for your daily needs with a wide selection of delicacies. The Marche provencal also offers a wide variety of fresh products every day from 7.00 am to 1.00 pm and is always a sensual experience with its scents and colors. The pretty alleyways of the old town with their Provençal flair convey a sense of lightness and numerous cafés invite you to linger. Selected restaurants know their trade when it comes to culinary delights. The footpath along the medieval town wall offers an unobstructed view of the distant coast and the vast sea and remains a spectacle in the play of colors and light of sky and sea. The "Port Vauban" in the old town is impressive; it is one of the largest marinas in Europe and is home to the largest and most expensive yachts in the world. Various sailing events are great highlights. Relaxation and recreation can be found on the nearby sandy beaches of "La Gravette" and "La Salis" or on a hike along the rugged coastline of Cap d'Antibes. For art lovers, the Picasso Museum right in the old town is a must, but the surrounding area was also home to renowned artists such as Renoir, van Gogh, Monet, Chagall, Dufy, Matisse and many more who, fascinated by the picturesque beauty of the countryside and the colorful coastline of the Cote d'Azur, left their unmistakable mark. There is still much to discover, such as the Fragonard perfume factory in Grass, enchanting villages like St. Paul de Vence, the Iles de Lérins islands, gardens and monasteries. This is just a small selection of what is possible here - a list would probably never be complete... Antibes and its surroundings offer a wide range of sights in terms of culture, ambience, the “Marché Provençal d'Antibes”, cafes & restaurants, other cities and picturesque villages, nature, islands, perfume factories (e.g. in Grasse) with great guided tours, or sports & fun. We only mention a small sample of what is possible here - it would be impossible to really list "everything", this list would never be complete...
